Employment & Internship
Opportunities

At Wild Peloria, we’re intentional about who joins our team. We seek therapists who are not only clinically skilled, but also curious, open-hearted, and unafraid to meet people where they truly are.

We Look For Therapists/Interns Who Are:

Rooted in Integrity
We work with therapists who bring honesty, ethical clarity, and humility into the room. Therapists who can hold complexity without needing to fix it.

Trauma-Informed & Client-Centered
Our therapists understand the impact of trauma and systemic oppression. They meet each client with care, patience, and deep respect for their lived experience.

Socially Conscious
We prioritize practitioners who are committed to ongoing self-reflection around power, privilege, and identity, and who engage actively in anti-oppressive practice.

Creative & Open-Minded
Therapists at Wild Peloria are often drawn to nontraditional or integrative approaches. We value therapists who bring their own genuine authenticity within the therapy space, and practice therapeutic modalities that compliment their authenticity.

LGBTQIA+ Affirming & Neurodiversity-Inclusive
We only hire therapists who are safe and affirming for queer, trans, and neurodivergent folks. No exceptions.

Continual Learners
We value therapists who are always evolving, through training, community engagement, or their own therapeutic work. We do seek therapists who may have an interest in Nature-Based Therapy and/or Play Therapy, though neither are required.

For Prospective Therapists:

We hire associates and licensed providers that are on the LPC, LMFT, or LCSW track. At this time we are not specifically looking for supervisors, though will likely in the future. If you are a therapist interested in connecting with us to see if we are a good fit, please email info@wildpeloria.com and attach your resume. Please include in the email any experience (including non-clinical personal/professional experience) with working with humans of all ages and neurodivergence, what population you hope to serve, and why you're specifically interested in working at Wild Peloria.

For Prospective Interns:

We seek interns who are passionate about providing client-centered care to clients of all ages, and would like to be trained as a systemic therapist. We are ideally looking for interns who are interested in working with us after internship. We prefer that you have previous experience working with kids and teens, and some familiarity with neurodivergence. Your supervisor will either be Alice Nelson and/or Jamie Watson. If you are an intern interested in connecting with us to see if we are a good fit, please email info@wildpeloria.com and attach your resume. Please include in the email any experience (including non-clinical personal/professional experience) with working with humans of all ages and neurodivergence, and why you're specifically interested in working at Wild Peloria.
