Jamie Watson, LMFT, RPT-S™ (she/her), has over 15 years of experience as a therapist, clinical supervisor, educator, and program director. Jamie brings a creative, compassionate, and systems-oriented approach to her work. Her clinical expertise is rooted in child, youth, and family therapy, with a specialization in supporting neurodivergent children and those with developmental differences. In addition to her work with children, she has extensive experience working with parents, couples, and adults across the lifespan, allowing her to hold a whole-system perspective in both clinical and supervisory settings.

Jamie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon and Washington, a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™ (RPT-S™), and an AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor. She serves as adjunct faculty at both the University of Western States and George Fox University, where she teaches courses in play therapy, human development, and clinical training for graduate counseling students. She also provides clinical trainings and supervision in areas such as play therapy, trauma-informed care, parenting, child and adolescent mental health, and stress management.

Jamie owns Jamie Watson Consulting, Inc., where she supports therapists and group practice owners through clinical supervision, consultation, and private practice coaching. Jamie loves helping clinicians deepen their clinical skills, pursue credentials like RPT™ and AAMFT supervision, and build sustainable, ethical practices. Through consulting, Jamie also provides guidance on starting and scaling private practices, navigating state certification and audits, and creating tools and training that help therapists thrive without burning out.

Deeply engaged in the professional community, Jamie has served on the board of the Oregon Association for Play Therapy (ORAPT) for over a decade, including multiple terms as President, and currently serves as Secretary. Nationally, she contributes to the field through her work on the Association for Play Therapy’s Ethics and Practice Guidelines Committee.

At Wild at Heart, Jamie oversees clinical operations and helps lead the center’s mission to provide neurodivergent-affirming, play-based, and nature-inspired therapy services. She is committed to creating spaces of safety, growth, and connection—where clients and clinicians alike feel seen, valued, and supported.

Known for her joyful and creative approach, Jamie often incorporates play, expressive modalities, and the occasional visit from her beloved Goldendoodle, Juniper, into her work.
