Nurturing authenticity.

Meet the Founders
Our Story
As experienced therapists and supervisors, Alice and Jamie shared a dream of creating a mental health therapy and training center where creativity, inclusion, and relationships were not only welcomed, but foundational.

No longer wanting to accept burnout as status quo, Alice and Jamie desired to cultivate a space where both clients AND staff could learn to thrive beyond "normal".
Motivated by a deep love of helping others and informed by decades of diverse clinical experience, in 2025 Alice and Jamie founded Wild Peloria, a business rooted in ethical and purpose-driven practices where every individual, regardless of background, feels valued, respected, and understood.

Our Mission
To nurture resilience, creativity, and connection by providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and playful therapy rooted in relationships and reverence for the natural world. We are committed to supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges with courage, curiosity, and care.

Our Philosophy of Service
We believe that healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey. Instead, it is personal, relational, and profoundly human. Our philosophy centers on the understanding that meaningful change occurs in the presence of authentic connection, within environments where individuals feel seen, safe, and empowered.

At Wild at Heart, we embrace a client-centered, strengths-based, and neurodivergent-affirming approach to therapy. We view play, imagination, and creative expression as essential tools for communication and integration, especially for children and those navigating complex developmental or emotional experiences. We honor the unique stories, identities, and nervous systems each client brings to the therapeutic space.

Our team integrates Nature Centered practices, believing that Nature offers grounding, metaphor, and restoration that cannot always be found within four walls. We view the natural world not just as a backdrop, but as a co-facilitator in healing, one that invites presence, regulation, and reflection.

We are committed to upholding clinical integrity, providing cultural humility, and engaging in ethical decision-making. We recognize the impact of systemic and intergenerational trauma and strive to offer inclusive, equitable care that acknowledges both historical harm and personal strength. We aim to walk alongside clients and communities, and not as experts with answers, but as compassionate collaborators in their healing.
