At Wild Peloria, we value your time and commitment to the therapy process. Consistency and reliability are essential to progress in treatment, and this policy helps ensure that clients, families, and clinicians can work together effectively.

 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

• We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or requests to reschedule an appointment.

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a late cancellation fee equal to your session fee.

• No-shows (missed appointments without notice) will be billed at the full session fee.

• Frequent cancellations may result in a review of your treatment schedule and possible referral to another provider.

• Insurance companies do not reimburse for missed or cancelled sessions. You are responsible for any fees incurred under this policy.

• Late cancellations and no-show fees will be automatically charged to the card on file.

Attendance and Commitment

• Regular attendance is expected for therapeutic progress.

• Clients who miss two or more consecutive sessions without prior communication may risk losing their reserved appointment time.

• Repeated missed sessions may result in discharge from services and referral to another provider.

• If you are more than 15 minutes late for a session, your therapist may not be able to accommodate you, and the session will be considered a no-show, resulting in rescheduling.

• Your consistent attendance demonstrates that you are committed to the therapeutic process, allowing us to schedule your ongoing appointment time.

Illness Policy

• If you or your child is ill, please cancel or reschedule your session.

• Telehealth options are available if you are well enough to meet virtually but aren't able to meet in person.

• If your therapist needs to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as soon as possible, and every effort will be made to reschedule as quickly as possible.

Weather and Emergencies

• In the event of severe weather or other emergencies, Wild Peloria may cancel sessions for the safety of its participants. Your therapist will contact you as soon as possible.

• You will not be charged for cancellations made by Wild Peloria due to emergencies.
