Robin’s approach to therapy is warm, strengths-based, and playful. She is passionate about supporting clients to navigate life transitions, identity exploration, family conflict, and daily challenges with empathy, humor, curiosity, and a liberation mindset. They particularly enjoy working with young people ages 10-18, parents & caregivers, artists & creatives, and folks who are LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent. She is experienced working with and affirms a wide variety of family structures, including foster & adoptive families, blended families, polyamorous families, and queer families.

As a therapist, Robin believes in balancing their clients' development of insight into their past histories, patterns, values, and personalities. She enjoys co-creating concrete strategies to support tangible behavior changes. She is guided by a deep commitment to justice, liberation, abolition, and community care. Their focus is on building a collaborative therapeutic relationship, nurturing resilience, and developing self-awareness. Robin’s work is person-centered and trauma-informed, and leans on solution-focused, play-based, narrative, and somatic interventions.

Robin earned her Master’s of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2017. They have fifteen years of experience working in public schools as a classroom teacher, professional school counselor, Section 504 coordinator, and arts educator. She has also written a wide range of curriculum for students, parents & families, and educators about anxiety, suicide prevention, ADHD, middle school success, and relationship violence prevention.

In their free time, you can find Robin collecting interesting rocks, singing with the Wild Rose Resistance Choir, working on their novel manuscript, pulling tarot cards, learning to play the harmonica, or in the woods with their family and friends. She is also always in pursuit of the perfect cup of coffee!
