Jessie's therapeutic style is collaborative, imaginative, and grounded in the belief that life is a story best written together. Jessie feels passionate about supporting people of all ages to establish routines and environments in which they can thrive authentically.

Jessie’s passion for therapy is rooted in both professional and lived experience. Jessie’s passion for therapy grew from a place of personal resilience and as a later in life diagnosed ADHD person, she cultivated deep empathy for those who have felt invisible.

Jessie is a graduate student intern at George Fox University, where she is working toward her Master’s degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. She approaches therapy from a trauma-informed, attachment-based perspective, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Child Centered Play Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients understand the relational patterns and cycles that shape their lives.

Jessie gained experience working with both children and adults through community involvement, organizing and leading events for youth, and serving as a crisis hotline volunteer with Lines for Life, which informs her drive to create a safe, respectful, and empowering therapeutic space.

Jessie has a particular interest in supporting: individuals navigating ADHD, especially those diagnosed later in life; children and teens learning emotional awareness and regulation; adults experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, or feeling stuck; couples working through disconnection, communication challenges, and life transitions.

Before entering the counseling field, Jessie spent over a decade in leadership and business roles, giving her a strong understanding of stress, burnout, and the complexities of balancing multiple responsibilities. Her goal is to help clients build insight, perspective, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop more connected, meaningful relationships.

When not studying, Jessie loves spending time with her family, including two goofy doodles, soaking in storytelling podcasts, collecting Pokemon, geocaching and exploring the vast food options Portland has to offer.
