Eli brings a warm, playful, and relational approach to their work. Whether through imagination, humor, or simply slowing down, they meet clients where they are. They are particularly drawn to working with folx who identify as LGBTQ+, those involved with the foster system, and around issues of self-harm, suicidal ideation, PTSD, body image, and life transitions.
Eli is currently pursuing their master’s in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy at Lewis & Clark College. They are a fellow in both the AAMFT Minority Fellowship Program and AFTA Emerging Leaders in Social Justice. They are also engaged in research with Lewis & Clark
faculty exploring cultural responsiveness in supervision and queer affirming practices in graduate training.
As an advocate for youth, Eli has spent the past 15 years working closely with young people and their families as an educator, teaching artist, group facilitator for queer and trans adolescents, CASA, and nanny.
Eli believes in the power of connection and the importance of creating space for people to show up as their authentic selves. As a queer and trans-identified person, they recognize that our lives are shaped by systems of power and oppression, and that our experiences happen in relationship with ourselves, others, and our communities. As a relational therapist, they aim to create a space that feels like a soft place to land, where clients can feel supported and challenged as they grow and heal.
In their free time, Eli enjoys slow walks in nature, cooking for loved ones, snuggling with their perfect cat, studying herbalism, and watching reality TV. When it’s warm out, you can find them by a river, getting emotionally attached to interesting rocks.
