Learn more about Wild Peloria, a new mental health group practice in Clackamas, OR that specializes in neurodivergent and sensory affirming care for all ages. We will review what neurodivergence is and offer ways to reduce the lens of shame/judgement when exploring sensory affirming care, including going over helpful tools/techniques. We will also briefly review how our 2 specialties, Nature-Based Therapy and Play Therapy, can help to support neurodivergent and sensory affirming care to all.

This webinar is centered on providing sensory-affirming care for individuals who generally experience a baseline sense of safety within their environments. It does not extend into a deeper exploration of navigating sensory expression when safety is not present, nor does it fully address how ongoing oppression and historical barriers continue to shape the experiences of those who do not align with the predominant culture.
